Sabrina Fernandes
Sabrina Fernandes is a political economist and ecosocialist activist from Brazil. She has a PhD in Sociology and is a Senior Leadership Fellow at the Alameda Institute and a Senior Research advisor to the TIDE Center at the University of Oxford.
She has published books and articles on the topics of ecosocialism, internationalism, leftist organising, Latin America and Global South politics, and ecosocial transitions in addition to editing special new editions of Marx and Engels' books in Brazil.
She has also contributed to the Global Ecosocialist Network and is a member of the Ecosocial and Intercultural Pact of the South, of the 2026 Post Growth Institute Fellowship and of the NACLA report's editorial committee.
