Mercedes is an organiser and anti-military researcher with Renegade Activists and a broadcaster and co-host of A Friday Rave on community radio 3CR.
They have a history of involvement in campaigns targeting weapons manufacturers including HTA, Elbit Systems, Electromold, AW Bell and Thales.
Renegade Activists have been campaigning on the issue of Australian militarism since the 1980s, organising and researching across the breadth of the global arms trade, from manufacturing, exports, AUKUS, Pine Gap and critical minerals supply chains.
