Liz Turner has been part of local, community-led, campaigns to shut down manufacturers of weapons parts being used against Palestinians including the campaign against Heat Treatment Australia (HTA) in Campbellfield, Melbourne. Liz is also a PhD candidate with Victoria University in Naarm/ Melbourne, exploring youth leadership of disruptive social movement action for climate justice.
