Jess Spear is an ecosocialist activist and local organiser for People Before Profit based in Dublin, Ireland.
She is originally from the United States where she worked as a climate scientist for the US Geological Survey before becoming a full-time socialist organiser.
She is co-founder of the revolutionary Marxist group RISE and was chief editor of Rupture magazine.
