Ian Angus
Ian Angus is editor of the online journal Climate & Capitalism, and a long-time activist in socialist and environmental movements in Canada and internationally.
He has written for Monthly Review, International Socialism, International Socialist Review, New Socialist, Canadian Dimension, and many other journals.
He is the author of many books, including Facing the Anthropocene and The War Against the Commons, both published by Monthly Review Press. His books have been translated into French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Macedonian, Turkish, and other languages.
His most recent book, and the title of his talk, is Metabolic Rifts: Capitalism’s Assault on the Earth System.
