Violet Coco, environment activist, jailed for activism: The bombs we are helping make are a danger to our community. The guns the police wear are a danger to our community. Leila is an asset to freedom everywhere. There is no justice without our global community. Leila’s experience in protesting, which is real direct democracy, needs to be shared, honoured and respected. We must have solidarity to stop this genocide, and letting Leila speak would help build these connections.
